Laura Adams
Artistic DirectorLos Angeles native Laura Adams has worked in media and entertainment for over 20 years since her late teens when she began assisting her father a TV & Screenwriter developing projects such as THE HUNTING GROUND. Subsequently, she’s Produced, Segment Produced, Directed, Written, and or Art Directed for Television, Documentary, and Music Video including WHAT CRIME PAYS, HOMES ACROSS AMERICA (HGTV), FAITH UNDER FIRE (Pax Network), LIVING WITH JUVENILE DIABETES, THE DOG WHISPERER (pilot with Cesar Millan), award winning short films, THE VISITS and SOMEBODY LOVES ME; Musical & Live Event Productions such as ONE VOICE, THE OLD TIME REVIVAL HOUR, and BATTLE OF THE BANDS (Malibu).
As Creative Director of the non-profit Media and Performing Arts Department of the Malibu Vineyard (Malibu Performing Arts Center) Laura produced promos, trained staff and cultivated over 100 talent and crew volunteers; including working with Recording Artists, Tony Award winning talent, Film and TV Celebrities.
Currently Laura is Segment Producing for the JONI AND FRIENDS SHOW (DirecTV’s NRB Network) and is collaborating with LA Loves non-profit production company to develop and produce documentaries on social injustice issues such as Human Trafficking and the Sexual Exploitation of Children in America.
Selective in her pursuits, Adams’ is inspired most by ‘real people’ living extraordinary lives and thrives on making sure a great story is told through the appropriate quality medium.
