Elkin Antoniou
Founder / ProducerElkin is an LA native who grew up on stage and film sets all over the world as the daughter of Emmy nominated director Lou Antonio and Broadway/TV actress Lane Bradbury. Elkin began her professional career as a ballet dancer before joining the LA Company of The Phantom of the Opera at age 18. Other theatre and television credits include Fame the Musical, Gypsy (starring Bette Midler), Tales of Hoffman, CSI, Chicago Hope, West Wing, Picket Fences, and Party of Five.
Elkin has worked extensively as a producer for her husband, Oscar nominated director Bobby Garabedian. In 2003 she co-produced his Academy Award nominated short film, MOST. Her greatest joy as a producer is establishing an environment where hope, service, and excellence set the standard. In 2006 Elkin became the Executive Producer of Chapter 7 Films whose clients include Safe Haven, Astonish Entertainment, Jaclyn Smith International, De-Angelis Records, and Awaken.
That same summer Elkin met Deborah Giarratana. Their shared passion to help rescue and restore the child soldiers in East Africa drove them to co-found LA LOVES. Elkin has produced numerous projects for LA Loves and is currently heading up of the creative team behind The Worst Crime campaign and film. She is also producing the original musical of Esther - linking the historical life of a Jewish woman who saved her people from impending genocide to the actions audiences can take to help the people impacted by the modern day genocides happening today in Darfur and Burma.
Elkin continues to produce feature and short films outside of the LA Loves banner. She is currently producing a short film series for Awaken Films and is in development on two feature films being packaged at CAA. Elkin is also the proud mother of 2 beautiful children, Colby and Jenny Drew.
